My name is Shelley Jollimore and I live in beautiful Prince Edward Island.  I fell in love with the bulldog breed in the late 90's while I was living in NC.  Everyday on my way to work, I passed by a kennel which sold bulldogs and chihuahuas.  I had wanted a dog for some time and I was now out on my own so it was time, but because I lived in an apartment, I couldn't buy one.  About three months prior to my departure from North Carolina, I finally stopped at the kennel to see if they would have anything available in the coming months.  I bought my first bulldog in May of 2001 prior to moving back to Canada.  She was a pet but showed me the love that a dog has to offer.

In 2002, I moved to Virginia and met new Bulldoggers.  I went to shows with my good friend and even walked her dog when she was looking after bulldog puppies.  After moving back to Prince Edward Island in 2005, I realized I missed going to dog shows with my bulldog friends.  I started to study the bulldog standard to better know what I was after.  I compared my girl Mocha to the standard and realized she didn't meet the standard at all [but she was a great dog].  I read and learned and asked questions.

I called upon Nancy Schultz's expertise in bulldogs to help me search for a show prospect.  In early 2007, I bought my first show girl.  I enjoyed showing Stella to her Canadian championship and her Pre-Novice obedience title.  Unfortunately, she is now gone but she will never be forgotten.  Thankfully, I now have Ms. Sophie to take into the show ring and do some obedience with in the future.  She is a true gem in my life.

So how did I come up with my kennel name?
One evening in the spring as I was planning my show schedule with Stella, I sat in front of the computer thinking, "I'm always On The Go"  from there, came the name OnDaGo.  Once I did my search and found that there were no other kennels with that name, I applied to the CKC to register it.  OnDaGo is a registered kennel with the Canadian Kennel Club.

Bulldogs are such a wonderful breed and I enjoy sharing my experiences and knowledge with those interested.

I am a member in good standing with the Canadian Kennel Club, Lady Slipper Kennel Club, The Bulldog Club of Central Canada and the Bulldog Club of America.
